My Philosophy

I had the fortune to work in various different laboratories in Germany, perform a research internship in Hsinchu, Taiwan, and experience American work culture in New York. These vastly different experiences had one common denominator: international teams. I believe in diversity as a driving force in developing innovative approaches to tackle pancreatic cancer. I aim to craft a work environment that fuels creativity and allows every team member to develop their full potential. Minorities face unique and context-dependent challenges in the education system. I aim to promote diversity by establishing an inclusive research team breaking the glass ceiling of gender, LGBTQ, race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic background.
